Update on A406 ‘consultation’
This morning I met and spoke with local residents as I worked to highlight the deadline for responding to the proposed works by TfL to roads around the A406.

The A406/North Circular Road red route has extended into the residential street of Warwick Road in Enfield and local residents have raised the issue with me as valuable parking space is lost and congestion worsened.

In recent weeks I’ve come across plenty of people upset with some aspect of Enfield Council’s rubbish collection service.

Wheelie bins are anti-recycling in Enfield
To encourage recycling and reduce general waste, as well as keeping rubbish out of reach of scavenging foxes, Enfield Council has started to roll out wheelie bins. However, for flats this means a reduction in kerbside recycling.
